Hi, Magix!

Our grandsons came for a visit last night, and I gave them their wands. They were very excited to get them.

Max cried "Cool!" and began waving it to do Harry Potter spells. He asked why he got a package of "dust" with his wand, and I explained that it was shavings from the two types of wood his wand was made of. He thought that was cool, too.

Will said his wand was "Great... amazing, actually! He had fallen on the playground and broke his arm on Friday, so both boys cried "Reparo!" and pointed their wands at his casted arm to repair it! His new wand was a good distraction from the pain and discomfort of his injury. (It was greenstick fracture, and he will be fine.)

There was a lot of wand-waving at the breakfast table the next morning. The boys were trying to remember all the magical commands from the Harry potter stories. They read all the papers that came with their wands. I had also printed out the properties of their particular wands.

I gave them velvet bags for storing their wands inside the boxes. I also gave each of them a leather belt holster for their wandsa right-handed draw holster for Max and a left-handed draw for Will. Unfortunately, left-handed Will had broken his left arm, so his draw will be a little awkward for a few weeks until he gets his cast off.
